Brothers Building Brothers is an organization that was birthed as a partnership with Sister Strengthening Sister. Pastor Kennard saw the impact that SSS had in the lives of hundreds of women by encouraging and empowering them to be all that they were created to be. He saw the benefit and need that this could have in the lives of men. 

Men are often times criticized and scrutinized for the things that they do not do. However men should be built and inspired for who they are and the things they are doing. We understand the importance of having support and accountability in one’s life. We as men do have our challenges, but to know I have a brother that is there to support and hold me accountable helps one stay on track.

After establishing the BBB ministry he then formed the leadership team. BBB had their kick-off event in June of 2018 a “Brother’s Brunch”. We were excited to have 50+ people attend for a time of fun, food and fellowship. The Brother’s Brunch has been an annual event. 

We have also partnered with the St Stephens Baptist Church Food Pantry. They distribute food to the community on a weekly basis. We are excited and thankful in what we have been able to do in our short time of existence. We are also looking forward to what we have planned and the lives we are expecting to build in the coming months and years.
